Mayday
Mayday was an exhibition space for contemporary art in a former shipping company building in the industrial harbor district of Basel. Since 2021 Mayday showed five solo or duo exhibitions per year. Mayday offered local, national and international artists the opportunity to produce and present space- and site-specific artistic interventions and communicated them in a committed way to an interested public. Mayday was run by Eva-Maria Knüsel and Camillo Paravicini.
